Brooklyn Nets forward Kevin Durant is best known for two things. The first and much more significant trait is the fact that he's one of the most amazing human beings on planet earth to ever touch a basketball. The second and much less flattering factoid is that he seems to spend an inordinate amount of time reading and responding to what people say about him on social media.

Just recently, Kevin Durant responded to a re-telling of a story during his time with the Golden State Warriors. It discussed how KD's then-coach Steve Kerr tried to get him to stop responding to randoms on the internet. In a twist of perfect irony, the Nets star responded to a fan calling him out on it.

One citizen of Twitter responded to the Nets star, claiming that he needs to let his generational talent do the talking for him instead of beefing online. Kevin Durant had a simple answer to the fan that was both a little ironic, but also a very valid retort using the same logic that fans always use on him. Summed up in two words – Who cares?

Yes, Kevin Durant spends a lot of time on Twitter. But is he allowed to do that if he wants to? Yes, he is. The Brooklyn Nets seemed like they were a few health issues away from cruising to an NBA championship thanks to KD being arguably the best player in the league when he's on. As long as he's out there destroying his rivals on the basketball court doing things we can't ever replicate ourselves, he's also entitled to indulge in some social media beefing if he feels like it.
