The New England Patriots are set to take on the Buffalo Bills in their Wild Card matchup. Mac Jones is one of many quarterbacks making their playoff debuts this postseason, including Jalen Hurts and Joe Burrow. However, Jones' Wild Card rival quarterback Josh Allen is no stranger to the playoffs. He has played in four playoff games in his career in the NFL, winning two and losing two. This will be the teams' third time facing one another this season. Let's take a look at my four boldest predictions for the Patriots vs Bills matchup.

Patriots Wild Card Predictions

4. Huge passing game for the Pats

Mac Jones is a unique quarterback, to say the least. He has not only the accuracy of a promising passing quarterback, but also the agility and intelligence to quickly read a situation and run the ball himself when needed.

That being said, expect the young quarterback to throw the football a lot on Saturday. In their first game against the Bills, Jones wasn't able to show much of anything because of the blinding snowfall in Buffalo. The second time around, he simply couldn't get the completions the Patriots needed to help them win the game.

With all of this in mind, Jones has a lot to prove in his first playoff outing. Expect him to throw for well over 200 yards and at least two touchdown passes on Saturday.

3. Fewer play calls for Damien Harris

As of the middle of the week, Damien Harris is questionable for Saturday's Wild Card game. He has been dealing with a lingering hamstring injury since the Patriots first battled the Bills back in Week 13. However, Harris has only missed one game because of it, which was Week 14, the game the week after the injury occurred.

Don't expect his injury to keep him on the sideline on Saturday, but don't expect him to get a lot of reps. As stated earlier, the Patriots are going to have to rely on their passing game to be successful against the Bills' defense. Harris and the other running backs will have some plays, but don't expect the common 100 yard game from him this weekend.

2. Big game for Jakobi Meyers

It's no secret that Jakobi Meyers has been Jones' favorite target this season. He has nearly double the number of targets that Kendrick Bourne (his second favorite target) has.

Since the Patriots' game is going to be focused on passing, expect Meyers to have one of his biggest games of the season. If Jones can connect with him deep down the field, Meyers will have at least 70 receiving yards and at least one touchdown on Saturday.

1. Upset win

The Patriots are going into this game as the underdogs, a nickname that Bill Belichick isn't used to be called. However, expect the seasoned coach and the rookie quarterback to pull off a win in Buffalo on Saturday. I mean, how else would former Patriots star Julian Edelman convince his parents that his $100k bet was a good idea?

Finally, my boldest prediction yet: Patriots win 24-17.
