Could Antonio Brown be making his way back in to the NFL?

According to Mike Silver of NFL Network, the Seattle Seahawks and Baltimore Ravens are a pair of teams that may have interest in signing the embattled wide receiver.

Silver notes that Brown has been engaging in offseason workouts with Seahawks backup quarterback Geno Smith and that Seattle is “absolutely interested” in potentially making him a late-season addition.

As for the Ravens, Silver mentions that they have “sniffed around” Brown in the past and that they are “mulling over” the possibility of bringing him in. Silver also notes that Brown's cousin, fellow wideout Marquise Brown, plays for Baltimore.

Brown played one game for the New England Patriots in 2019, logging four catches for 56 yards and a touchdown in the Patriots' Week 2 win over the Miami Dolphins. However, he was released after he allegedly sent threatening text messages to another woman.

The 31-year-old was initially supposed to play out the season with the Oakland Raiders, but a series of incidents in training camp led to Brown requesting his release from the club just before the regular season began.

Brown was involved in more off-the-field incidents earlier this offseason, most notably when he allegedly assault a moving truck driver outside of his home in Hollywood, Florida.

The seven-time Pro Bowler pleaded no contest to the charges on June 12 and received two years' probation. He must also complete 100 hours of community service, take part in a 13-week anger management program and undergo a psychological evaluation.

Brown spent his first nine NFL seasons with the Pittsburgh Steelers, establishing himself as one of the best receivers in football of his time.
