With less than a week before the 2018 NFL season kicks off, wide receiver Breshad Perriman suddenly found himself looking for work in the league after the Baltimore Ravens released him last Saturday.

It was earlier reported that Perriman will have a workout with the New York Jets on Monday, but in case it doesn’t pan out well for him, the wideout will have at least two more teams, the Buffalo Bills and the New York Giants, to visit, according to Ian Rapoport of the NFL Network.

Taken off the board by the Baltimore Ravens as the No. 26 overall pick in the 2015 NFL Draft, Breshad Perriman had a difficult time proving his worth on the team, thanks to injuries and inconsistent performance on the field. Perriman spent his entire first year in the league shelved by a knee injury. He would make his regular season debut in 2016, when he appeared in all 16 games (with a start) and collected 499 receiving yards and three touchdowns.

It got worse the following year for Perriman, as he was only able to gather 77 receiving yards with zero touchdowns in 11 games in 2017.

The Bills make quite a sense as the next landing spot for Perriman. Buffalo finished dead last in the league in terms of passing yards per game, and could be headed towards that direction again, as the team didn’t do much to address the issue.

The Giants have a deeper receiver depth than Buffalo, with Odell Beckham Jr., Sterling Shepard, and Evan Engram set as Eli Manning’s top targets, though, Perriman can still try to impress the team.
