The latest meeting of the New England Patriots and the Kansas City Chiefs continues to make headlines, albeit for not-so-ideal reasons connected to Roger Goodell and others.

The two teams were supposed to play last Sunday but it was put on hold when Patriots star quarterback Cam Newton tested positive for COVID-19. Later on, it was also revealed that Chiefs practice squad quarterback Jordan Ta'amu also tested positive for the virus, forcing the NFL to postpone the game.

The face-off pushed through on Monday night at Arrowhead Stadium. But now, there’s a new story that’s grabbing attention.

Chiefs security officials removed a fan from the game because he was wearing an NFL commissioner Roger Goodell clown t-shirt. The still-unidentified man was watching from the top-most part of the bleachers when five security guards arrested him and put him on what appears to be handcuffs.

It is still unclear where the guy was brought.

Many fans are still angry with Goodell for his alleged slow and incompetent response to the COVID-19 situation and for some of his previous controversial policies.

An estimated 16,000 people watched the matchup between the Patriots and the Chiefs. Patrick Mahomes and company remained undefeated in four games after rolling to a 26-10 win, extending their winning streak to 13 games dating back to Week 10 of last season.

The Chiefs had a lethargic start despite the Patriots missing Newton and running back Sony Michel. But they were able to pick things up in the third quarter as they ramped up their defense.

Up next for the Chiefs are the Oakland Raiders on Sunday.
