Before the games kick off on Sunday, Adam Schefter reported that Antonio Brown is not expected to play again in 2019. Despite the report, Drew Rosenhaus is still confident that Brown will play this season.

Brown has remained in free agency after being released by the New England Patriots following sexual-assault allegations were made against him by his former trainer. The NFL has been conducting their own investigation on the situation and is planning to meet with Brown on Thursday.

In Schefter's report, he stated that in the event that an NFL team tried to sign Brown, they would immediately place him on the Commissioner's Exempt List. Therefore, Brown would be unable to play with his new team until the NFL concluded their investigation.

Rosenhaus, Browns' agent, believes that the NFL will clear his client's name following his meeting with the league. Then, Rosenhaus will begin to help his client get back onto the football field for the rest of the season.

Even with the baggage that comes with signing him, there will undoubtedly be teams who express interest in Brown. There's no doubt that Brown can still be a highly productive wide receiver for any offense in the NFL.

But it's his distractions and antics that could cause some teams to avoid bringing in the troubled wideout. It also doesn't help that Brown has constantly dug himself into a deeper hole with his recent social media posts that bashed the NFL.

The disgruntled wide receiver has since recanted his remarks, but there's no doubt that his image in the NFL has gone through some changes in the past eight months.
