Michael Vick has been the comparison for nearly every mobile quarterback that enters the NFL draft since Vick, himself, was selected with the first overall pick in 2001.

Last year, it was Lamar Jackson, the electric playmaker out of Louisville that drew the comparisons. However, Vick said this year's top pick, Kyler Murray, is his closest comp.

“Up until last year, I would say Lamar because Lamar has what it takes,” Vick said on “The Lefkoe Show” with Bleacher Report’s Adam Lefkoe. “But when I watch Kyler Murray — even though he’s in a different system than Lamar and pretty much the system that he’s in now was the system that he was in at Oklahoma, so it’s going to look exactly the same but the hashes are a little tighter. So that’s the only concern, can he do it in a more compact space — but he’s the guy that can just wiggle.”

Murray was knocked by some scouts due to his lack of size. He measures just 5-foot-10 and weighs 207 pounds — and his hands are underwhelming by NFL standards, at 9.5 inches. Vick, of course, dealt with many of the same criticisms and issues during his 13-year career.

In reality, the perfect comparison to Vick is probably a mixture of these two young quarterbacks.

While Jackson has Vick's natural speed, he has yet to develop into the thrower that Vick already was coming out of Virginia Tech. Murray has the arm and is probably a better pure passer, as well as the elusiveness (or “wiggle” as Vick called it) though I'm not sure he is as fast as Jackson.

Either way, if these two players thrive, the comparisons will only keep growing.
