Former Kansas City Chiefs running back Kareem Hunt is currently in hot water. He finds himself unemployed right now as a result of his actions last February. In a viral video released by TMZ, the 23-year-old All-Star is seen shoving a woman after a heated argument. What followed was a more horrible moment as Hunt kicked the same woman while she was on the ground.

The Chiefs immediately parted ways with Hunt after the incident was made public. It was the second time in a week's span that an NFL player was reprimanded for beating up a woman.

Second-year linebacker Reuben Foster was arrested at a hotel in Florida Saturday last week after he allegedly beat up his girlfriend. The San Francisco 49ers released him as a result, and Foster is currently placed on the commissioner's exempt list.

The series of events doesn't stop for Kareem Hunt as he faces another charge of assault. A certain John M. Lopez accused the running back of beating him up last January. According to Matt Flener of KMBC, the incident happened at the Mosaic Club in Kansas City.

Chances of Hunt's return on the playing field may be slimmed down even more after this additional accusation. Recently, no team has claimed him three days after his release. Hunt's playing career was going on the right track before this incident was revealed. He has already rushed for 824  yards and seven touchdowns in 11 games played this season.

Last year, the Toledo product was voted the NFL's offensive rookie of the year after he finished the 2017 season with 1,327 yards and eight touchdowns.
