New England Patriots haters are about to get some more ammunition to justify their distaste for the franchise.

Apparently, the Patriots, along with the Washington Redskins, have the easiest strength of schedule in the NFL heading into 2019 while the Oakland Raiders have the toughest.

As if the Patriots needed things to be easy for them, right?

New England is coming off of a 2018 campaign in which it won 11 games and captured the AFC East division title, marking its 10th straight division crown. However, the Pats looked considerably more vulnerable than they had in previous years, as Tom Brady was looking a bit shaky down the stretch, the receiving corps were thin and the defense was a big question mark.

However, the Patriots went on to nail down a first-round bye and then hammered the Los Angeles Chargers in the Divisional Round of the playoffs. They then followed that up with a thrilling overtime road win over the Kansas City Chiefs in the AFC Championship Game before defeating the Los Angeles Rams for their sixth Super Bowl title.

Meanwhile, the Redskins won just seven games and missed the playoffs for the third straight season. Washington has made just two postseason appearances since 2008, and, going back even further than that, the Redskins have only made the playoffs five times since 1993.

The Raiders went just 4-12 in 2018 and have made one trip to the postseason since last making it to the Super Bowl back in the 2002-03 campaign. But, a big offseason that has consisted of landing stars such as Antonio Brown, Trent Brown and Lamarcus Joyner seems to have Oakland on the right track.
