Former Kansas City Chiefs running back Kareem Hunt has dominated the NFL headlines on Friday night, and it has led to plenty of discussion worldwide.

That discussion has involved numerous NFL personalities, including former Super Bowl champion Reggie Bush.

Like many other people, Bush took to social media to share his thoughts on the situation surrounding Hunt's release from the Chiefs.

Hunt was officially let go by the team after TMZ released a graphic video that showed his involvement in a physical altercation with a woman earlier in the year.

And Bush thinks that this incident should serve as a wake-up call for many young players.

From Twitter:

Hate to see the young kid @Kareemhunt7 go this way but it is a tremendous learning experience for young players in this league! Learn from other people’s mistakes! It’s an important reminder that in no way, shape, or form is it ok to hit women! Let’s collectively be better!

Bush last played in the NFL for the Buffalo Bills in 2016, and has most recently been doing work with the NFL Network.

As for Hunt, his NFL future is certainly in jeopardy following this incident, and he currently finds himself on the Commissioner's Exempt list.

Meanwhile, his former team will try to put the distractions behind them when they head to Oakland for a matchup with the Raiders on Sunday.

Kansas City currently sits at 9-2 on the season, with the Los Angeles Chargers still giving chase in the divisional title race at 8-3 on the year.
