The drama surrounding Antonio Brown resonates all too well with former Hall of Fame receiver Terrell Owens.

Owens sent Josina Anderson of ESPN a perfect self-serving response to the Brown saga.

This is coming from Terrell Owens, who once held a press conference with members of the media in his driveway after then Philadelphia Eagles head coach Andy Reid sent him home during training camp. That same Owens realizes just how irrational Antonio Brown has been during his time with the Oakland Raiders.

Throughout Owens' 15-year career, he was known to be an egomaniac — even constantly repeating the words “I love me some me”. Along with his entertaining character, Owens was one of the best receivers to ever step foot on the football field.

The same can possibly be said for Brown. Before he arrived in Oakland, the troubled wide receiver put together a historic run with the Pittsburgh Steelers. In the past six seasons, Brown has averaged 114 receptions, 1,524 yards and 11 touchdowns.

Those numbers are phenomenal considering that defensive coordinators spent timeless hours to try and gameplan to stop him. It also helped that Brown was able to catch passes from Ben Roethlisberger during his nine years with the Steelers.

The story of Brown's career has taken a detour, but he can make things right by performing on the field. Above all, teams can withstand the antics of a player when that player is producing at a high level.

During Owens career, he constantly made headlines for his character issues. Despite the questions pertaining to his character, Owens still found himself walking into Canton.
