Peyton Manning is one of the greatest quarterbacks that ever played the game. The Indianapolis Colts legend terrorized opposing defenses for many years in what turned out to be a truly iconic career for the five-time league MVP.

Dwayne Johnson aka The Rock recently guested on Manningcast with Peyton and his brother, Eli Manning, and it turned out to be an opportunity for Johnson to take revenge against the great Peyton Manning. Himself a defensive lineman during his playing days for the University of Miami, The Rock provided the gory details of how he intends to lay the smackdown on Peyton (h/t B/R Wrestling on Twitter):

The Rock was very descriptive in his commentary and the Manning brothers appeared to be captivated by his violent message for Peyton. It was all in good fun, though, and the trio was smiling and laughing throughout the interview.

The Manning brothers were covering Monday night's Wild Card matchup between the Los Angeles Rams and the Arizona Cardinals. The winner of this highly-anticipated contest will get the privilege of facing off against another all-time great quarterback — one that both Peyton and Eli Manning are very familiar with — in Tom Brady and his Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
