From one CFL quarterback to another, Warren Moon can't help but share critical advice for Johnny Manziel.

TMZ did its thing and stopped the NFL Hall of Fame quarterback and asked him for a little advice pertaining to the media outlet's favorite athlete, Johnny Manziel.

Of the words Moon used, remaining humble was the most important. He absolutely believes the Canadian Football League is a viable option for Manziel to use en route to an eventual NFL career. In fact, he even mentioned that the CFL could be a perfect long-term solution for the former first-round choice of the Cleveland Browns.

Moon also mentions that he, Jeff Garcia and Doug Flutie are all fantastic examples of quarterbacks who traveled north of the border prior to making it in the NFL.

Manziel will absolutely have to adjust to the rule changes. With a wider field and 12 men on both sides, it's a different brand of football—but it's perfectly tailored to Johnny's style of play. Sprinkle in the run-and-shoot master himself, June Jones, as Manziel's new coach, and everybody's experiencing flashbacks of those early 1990s Houston Oilers teams with Moon at the helm of the NFL's most dangerous four wide-receiver, run-and-shoot offense.

Johnny Manziel is now the quarterback of the Hamilton Tiger-Cats of the CFL and Warren Moon will have both eyes on his every move.
