On Tuesday morning, Tom Brady announced that he will be leaving the New England Patriots, but while he is a free agent, he doesn't exactly have a plethora of options at his disposal.

As a matter of fact, many are saying he will sign with either the Tampa Bay Buccaneers or the Los Angeles Chargers.

Hall of Fame quarterback Brett Favre spoke out on the possibility of Brady potentially joining the Buccaneers, saying that Tampa Bay would be a good landing spot for the 42-year-old:

“You’d be crazy not to go after Tom Brady with the team you have,” Favre said of the Bucs on SiriusXM NFL Radio. “Yeah, it’s a very tough division, but I don’t think for one second that Tom is sitting there thinking, ‘I want the easiest route possible.’ You want to win. You want to prove you can lead a team to a championship other than the one you’ve done so much for so many years. Yeah, Tampa is a very good option.”

The Buccaneers are certainly interesting.

They boast one of the NFL's best wide receiver tandems in Mike Evans and Chris Godwin, and young tight end O.J. Howard is very talented, his disappointing 2019 campaign notwithstanding. Not only that, but even running back Ronald Jones showed some promise toward the end of this past season.

Of course, Tampa Bay also has not made the playoffs in 12 years, so you have to wonder how much that is weighing on Brady's mind, but he may also be thinking that he is the person who can change the culture there.
