Kobe Bryant is rapidly on his way out. By this time next week, he'll have finished his NBA career and probably be in Newport working on his next venture.

But not before Nike dedicates a day to him.

That's right. To properly send off the Lakers legend, Nike has declared April 13th ‘Mamba Day' to honor Kobe in his last game of his NBA career.

According to Sports Illustrated's Tim Newcomb, fellow Nike athletes, including Mike Trout and Carli Lloyd, will be wearing the black and gold shoes to honor the Mamba's retirement. Rory McIlroy already kicked off the campaign at Augusta for the Master's.

Kobe's last game will take place next Wednesday against the Jazz at Staples Center. Expect to see quite a few more tributes between now and then.
