Explore a procedurally generated universe on the go, gather resources, build a base and more when interstellar survival game No Man's Sky comes to the Nintendo Switch this Summer 2022.

This announcement was revealed during a Nintendo Direct stream, check out the clip here:

The trailer promises that every thing – atom, leaf, tree, bird, fish, rock, ocean, cloud, ruin, star, sun, planet, galaxy – is procedural. And now this will be available on the go with No Man's Sky coming to the Nintendo Switch.

No Man's Sky first released August 8, 2016 for the PlayStation 4 and PC in what many would call an underwhelming start. On release, the gameplay was described as repetitive and “boring” and many criticized the game for lacking features that developers Hello Games announced would be available. Since then, however, Hello Games have constantly updated and worked upon the game into what is now a stellar – no pun intended – experience. They have since added base building, vehicles, space fleets, and improved the planetary flora and fauna.

Due to Hello Games' constant love and care for No Man's Sky, its reception constantly improved and it gained a dedicated player base. It also received numerous nominations and awards as it shaped up to be what the developers promised: an unexplored universe teeming with life.
