As Trae Young said it, Nikola Jokic is a funny dude. The Denver Nuggets star showed that side once again as he talked about his MVP win on NBA on TNT.

Jokic has never made a big deal about individual accolades, including the MVP award. And while he has kept the same stance after he became the 13th player in NBA history to win back-to-back MVPs, he did admit that it will serve as a proof that he's really good at basketball at some point in his life.

“When I'm old, fat and grumpy… I'm going to tell my kids back in the day I was really good playing basketball,” Jokic said when asked what winning two straight MVPs means to him.

Now that is classic Joker for you.

However, the Nuggets superstar really doesn't have to worry about anything. He has made history with his MVP win, and he will forever be in the NBA lore as one of the greatest big men to have ever played the game.

Nikola Jokic will not have to tell his kids how good he is. The fans will surely keep him in the conversation among the NBA greats for years and decades.

Hopefully, though, that funny side of him won't disappear when he's old and fat. He can be grumpy at times, though.
