Nikola Jokic just put the entire Rip City under a state of calamity after leading the Denver Nuggets to a Game 3 win on Thursday, 120-115.

With only 3.2 ticks remaining in the game and the Nuggets only up by three points against the Portland Trail Blazers, Montre Morris muffed the second end of his free throws. But Jokic, as he has done all season long, saved the Nuggets with his offensive rebound and tip-in to seal the win and take a 2-1 lead in the first round series.

The whole of Rip City just got their hearts ripped out.

The Trail Blazers committed one of the most unforgivable sins in basketball, giving up second-chance points off a missed free throw. At a crucial time at that. Jokic simply outhustled everyone to get the ball back and make the extra bucket for the inspired Nuggets. That's exactly why he's one of the frontrunners to win this season's MVP trophy.

Jokic had another monster outing, finishing with team-highs of 36 points and 11 rebounds on top of five assists to lead the Nuggets. The Trail Blazers have had no answer for him in the series and his latest heroics might just be the knockout punch.

Clearly, Nikola Jokic is a man on a mission, and the Nuggets will ride him as far as they can.
