Paul Millsap just turned back the hands of time and pulled off a major highlight on Wednesday night as the Denver Nuggets hosted Zion Williamson and the New Orleans Pelicans.

It's not every day that you'd see the 36-year-old vet go way up, but it was our lucky day as Millsap soared for a nasty alley-oop finish. Fortunately, Williamson saved himself from the potential poster, as it was his teammate in James Johnson who was on the wrong end of the highlight.

Check out Millsap's throwback-worthy poster here (via SportsCenter):

The four-time All-Star has had another steady campaign in Denver this season and has been one of the biggest leaders for this young Nuggets squad both on and off the court. Seeing him go way up and finish an athletic play should definitely get his teammates excited and hopefully match Millsap's intensity.

Intensity is definitely something these Nuggets need right now. Though they've been piling up the wins, it has been rough out there not having their young point guard in Jamal Murray. Players like Michael Porter Jr., Aaron Gordon, and even Facundo Campazzo have all stepped up, but Denver is hoping that they can stay completely lock in as they try to secure homecourt advantage in the upcoming 2021 playoffs.

That being said, Paul Millsap would probably need to ice his knees come halftime.
