Denver Nuggets point guard Jamal Murray took over Game 5 against the Utah Jazz and helped the Nuggets stave off elimination. The sharpshooter had 42 points and put Jazz guard Royce O'Neale in the torcher chamber in the fourth quarter.
After scoring over O'Neale with 1:20 left in regulation, Murray yelled, “can't guard me.”
Jamal Murray played 41 minutes in Game 5. He finished with 42 points, eight rebounds and eight assists while shooting 17-of-26 from the field, 4-of-8 from the field and 4-of-4 from the free-throw line.
Murray and the Nuggets will look to even up the series at 3-3 in Game 6 on Thursday. All the pressure is on the Jazz to finish the series, so Murray and Denver can play freely in Game 6.
Murray is establishing himself as a star in the Disney bubble. It's been fun to watch his growth.
