The Denver Nuggets and the Phoenix Suns are facing off Saturday night, and the game got off to an exciting start.

With 9:05 left in the first quarter Will Barton and Troy Daniels got into a little scuffle that resulted in both players getting a technical.

There was trash talk between the two teams before this happened, and something must have been said that crossed the line. The players had to be separated and  Barton had to be tackled to ensure he didn't go after Troy Daniels anymore.

This isn't the first time Barton has found himself in trouble with the officials for trying to stir things up. In 2015 Andrew Wiggins hit a jumper in Barton's face and Barton didn't like that. He started to jaw with Wiggins before the two were separated.

Later in that same season when the Nuggets played the Rockets Trevor Ariza lost his shoe, and Will Barton didn't seem to care as he picked it up and tossed it down the court.

One thing is common in all these above fights that Barton was involved in. There was a lot of talking, and a little bit of shoving, but no punches were thrown.

This was just another one of the typical NBA scuffles that didn't result in much, but as the game develops and these teams play again it will be interesting to watch to see if these two players start to form a bit of a rivalry.
