College players are getting paid big time! The new NIL deals are working out well for athletes in the college ranks. And that narrative certainly did not change when it revealed that Ohio State's CJ Stroud would be receiving a brand new Bentley as part of his NIL deal.

Stroud's new Bentley is reportedly worth around $150,000 dollars. The perk comes as part of his deal with an Ohio based car dealership in Canton. In the past, players would have had to wait until reaching the NFL before even considering purchasing a vehicle such as this.

The car dealership's general manager commented on this deal with CJ Stroud.

“If somebody is that adamant about it, and they’re going to be a Heisman frontrunner, top-10 pick in the draft, we're interested. That's how it all came together.”

Stroud enjoyed a tremendous 2021 season with the Ohio State Buckeyes. The QB fired 44 touchdowns compared to just 6 interceptions while tallying more than 4,400 passing yards. He posted a quality 71.9 percent completion rate and 186.6 passing efficiency rate.

His successful season earned him a spot amongst the college football Heisman finalists. His competitors included Michigan's Aidan Hutchison, Pitt's Kenny Pickett, and Alabama's Bryce Young. The award ultimately was awarded to Young but many believe Stroud has what it takes to become the Heisman in 2022.

For now, Stroud will focus on leading Ohio State to a National Championship. He will also have the luxury of pulling up to the field in a Bentley via this new NIL perk.

Life is good for CJ Stroud.
