The Ohio State Buckeyes' wide receiving corps is one of the nation's most talented, headlined by the likes of Chris Olave and Garrett Wilson. Both are among the top wide receivers in the nation and are highly regarded in terms of their future in professional football. Wilson took to Twitter on Monday to announce his key decision regarding his future at Ohio State, and it looks as if he's ready to take the next step in his football career, officially declaring for the 2022 NFL Draft.

Wilson shared his heartfelt Twitter post with Buckeye Nation, thanking them for the three years he spent in Columbus and the unconditional love and support he received from fans and those involved in the program. He called joining the Ohio State family the “greatest decision” of his life, and personally thanked a few of his coaches, including head coach Ryan Day.

Wilson enjoyed a prolific three seasons with the Buckeyes, recording a total of 143 receptions for 2,213 yards, and 23 touchdown receptions. He had his best season in 2021 as a junior, during which he logged 70 receptions, 1,058 receiving yards, and 12 touchdown grabs. He also scored a rushing touchdown on one of his four carries on the season, tallying 76 yards.

The Buckeyes' star wideout is expected to be one of the first wide receiver's to hear his name called during the 2022 NFL Draft, and many mock drafts have Wilson pegged as a top-10 or top-15 selection. The young wideout could become a real difference-maker for whatever organization he lands with in the NFL, and he showcased that during his sensational collegiate career.
