One of the most anticipated matchups of the college football weekend on Saturday will feature the No. 3 Ohio State Buckeyes against No. 12 Oregon.

Chris Olave will be highlighted early and often for Ohio State as the superstar wide receiver will look to make his mark on the game.

It wasn't always about Ohio State for Olave though. Via elevenwarriors.com, Olave grew up an Oregon fan and at one time they were his dream school as he cheered them on when they played the Buckeyes in the 2015 College Football Playoff Championship.

“I was young, I remember watching it at home with my family. I was definitely an Oregon fan,” Olave said. “I remember they beat Florida State before that, so I was going for Oregon, but Ohio State came in and kind of put the bang on them. They were hitting hard, and kind of messed up Oregon’s game.”

Although he grew up in California, it was the Ducks who were a mainstay in the college football landscape when Olave was growing up. It drew him to become a fan of Oregon.

“Oregon was really like a powerhouse growing up,” Olave said. “Chip Kelly, I remember just watching Oregon growing up with my family. We were all Oregon fans, me and my brother, so just to be able to play against them”

Now the Ohio State superstar wideout will get a chance to go up against the school he once viewed as his dream landing spot.

“It was my dream school, but I don’t know. We’ll never know,” Olave said. “They never came, so I guess we’ll never know.”

Buckle up on Saturday for this one between Ohio State and Oregon.
