Carolina Panthers quarterback Teddy Bridgewater recently sustained an apparent right knee injury in their matchup against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in Week 10.

According to Chris Mortensen, no structural damage was found but he did have some soreness and swelling. His availability for their Week 11 tilt against the Detroit Lions is still up in the air but the outlook remains to be positive for Bridgewater.

The former Louisville product failed to finish the game as he took a low sack from Buccaneers linebacker Jason Pierre-Paul with six minutes to go in the fourth quarter. He was attended by the medical staff in the blue tent and headed straight to the locker rooms afterward. Bridgewater tallied 136 passing yards on an 18/24 passing clip to go with two passing touchdowns before exiting the field.

Backup playmaker and former XFL standout P.J. Walker eventually slotted in for Bridgewater and finished the game with 12 passing yards on two-of-four passes completed.

On the opposite end, Buccaneers' playmaker Tom Brady was having a field day as he threw 341 yards on a 28/39 passing completion along with three touchdowns. An overwhelming offensive showing by the Buccaneers in the second half eventually led to a one-sided affair that finished on a 46-23 outcome going in Tampa Bay's favor.

The Buccaneers improved to 7-3 while the Panthers continued on their five-game losing skid en route to a 3-7 tally. Panthers head coach Matt Rhule will have to be creative in the event that his QB1 will miss their coming game against the Lions and aim to get back in the win column once again.
