Carolina Panthers tight end Greg Olsen didn't mince words after the team was blown out by the Indianapolis Colts on Sunday. He admitted after the game he really isn't sure what the team's plan is right now.

“Right now I’m not sure what our plan is. I think we want to win now, but we want to build for the future,” Olsen said via Alaina Getzenberg of the Charlotte Observer. “It’s just a really tough way to operate right now.

Olsen said it's the players failing, but also put the blame on everyone inside the organization. He didn't call out owner David Tepper but he seemed to be hinting towards it with his comments.

“Players are underperforming, I think it’s right now a very collective failure, organizational failure. Fans deserve better. A lot of guys in this locker room deserve better. Coaches that have been around here deserve better. It’s just been an overall failure, I think is the best way to put it.”

One of the big issues in Sunday's game was Will Grier's play. Grier finished the game throwing for 224 yards, zero touchdowns, and three interceptions. Olsen saw the struggles first hand and said it really wasn't fair that the rookie quarterback was thrown into the situation.

“(Grier) was thrown into an impossible situation,” Olsen said. “Two games left in a season where there’s been countless issues and now, throw him out there, play incompetent football around him — it’s impossible to get any sort of judgment based on his performance today.”

Olsen's future with the team is still up in the air, but it's clear with these comments he hasn't given up on the future of this team. If he is brought back next year hopefully there will be a better team around him that allows the team to have more success.
