Teddy Bridgewater isn't known for throwing the deep ball, but he showed on Sunday for the Carolina Panthers he's more than capable of chucking it down the field when he needs to. After a strong start by the New Orleans Saints, Bridgewater found D.J Moore for a 74-yard touchdown.

The Saints were able to take a 14-3 lead over the Panthers on Sunday after a one-yard touchdown by Drew Brees. But right after his former mentor in New Orleans found the end zone, Bridgewater uncorked a deep pass to narrow the deficit for the Panthers.

Immediately after taking the snap, Bridgewater ran through his progressions, finding a wide-open Moore down the field. Moore would catch the ball and walk into the end zone untouched.

Early in the second quarter, the Saints and Panthers are shaping up to be involved in a classic NFC South shootout. If Carolina hopes to upset New Orleans on the road, they may need more big plays through the air from Bridgewater.
