Heading into their divisional round matchup against the Tennessee Titans, the New England Patriots are finally at full strength with the additions of both defensive tackle Alan Branch and running back Rex Burkhead.

From CBS Boston:

Running back Rex Burkhead and defensive lineman Alan Branch both spoke to reporters on Wednesday, and both said they’re ready to return for Saturday’s Divisional Round matchup.

Both players are listed as questionable on New England's official injury report.

Burkhead last played for the Patriots against the Pittsburgh Steelers in Week 15, leaving early after injuring his right knee. He racked up over 500 all-purpose yards and eight total touchdowns in 10 games this season.

The Nebraska product spoke on his return:

“I feel good, just ready to get back out there with the team. I’m excited for the playoffs and everything that is in store,” Burkhead said Wednesday. “[Tennessee had the] No. 1 run defense in the league for the season, so we’re going to have to be prepared and be physical. We’re going to have to play fast right from the beginning.”

While Burkhead has played an important role for New England's offense this season, Dion Lewis and James White are both highly productive players out of the backfield who made Burkhead's absence much less costly.

They don't have the same luxury with Branch.

The veteran defensive tackle missed the last three weeks of the regular season after suffering a knee injury of his own. At 6’6″ and 350 pounds, Branch is able to consistently clog up the trenches and slow down opposing rushing attacks. He has been the perfect successor for Vince Wilfork, and his success led to New England giving him a two-year, $12 million contract extension this past March.

Branch's return will be pivotal against Titans running back Derrick Henry. In Tennessee's wild card win over the Kansas City Chiefs, Henry racked up an impressive 156 yards and a touchdown.
