Cam Newton is done being humble. The newly acquired quarterback of the New England Patriots is slowing getting back to tip-top shape, and he didn't mince words on a workout video he recently posted on Instagram.
“You gonna choose that, over this?!” Newton said in the video. “I’m really a monster. But I’m going to tell you this, I’m getting tired of being humble, now.”

The two-part, one-minute video Cam Newton posted came with a ton of explicit words aimed at all his doubters. The video also came with the caption: “Note to self: You are great, you are the best, you are a dog, you are a monster, you are the lion!!”
After breaking out for an MVP season in 2015, the new Patriots quarterback hit a slump as multiple injuries dampened his nine-year stint with the Carolina Panthers. His tenure with the team ended quite bitterly, with the franchise releasing the 31-year old after failing to find a trade partner.
Newton finally found his new team after New England signed him to an incentive-laden one-year deal late last month.
“I'm getting tired of all this humble sh–. Because when you're humble, they start taking advantage of you.” the new Patriots QB exclaimed in his latest workout video. “There's one m———— animal in the jungle and when he roars, everything stops. And I'm about to m———— roar.”
The three-time Pro Bowler is joining a Patriots team poised to begin a new chapter after Tom Brady chose to leave the team this offseason and joined the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Believe him or not, Cam is all-in on his comeback season.
