The New England Patriots will be hosting visits with University of Mississippi wide receiver A.J. Brown and University of South Carolina wide out Deebo Samuel, according to Tom Pelissero of NFL Network.

Brown is coming off of a monster junior campaign in which he hauled in 85 receptions for 1,320 yards and six touchdowns.

The 21-year-old arrived at Mississippi in 2016 and had a decent freshman year, catching 29 passes for 412 yards and a couple of scores. He then proceeded to break out during his sophomore season, snaring 75 balls for 1,252 yards and 11 touchdowns.

Meanwhile, Samuel is fresh off of a senior year in which he registered 62 catches for 882 yards and 11 scores.

The 23-year-old joined South Carolina in 2015 and had a very quiet freshman campaign, logging just 12 receptions for 161 yards and a touchdown. He then had a breakout year of sorts in his sophomore season, totaling 59 catches for 783 yards and a score.

However, a broken fibula limited him to just three games during his junior year in 2017, as he finished with just 15 catches for 250 yards while finding the end zone three times.

The Patriots are in desperate need of some help in the passing game, as tight end Rob Gronkowski retired, wide receiver Cordarrelle Patterson left for the Chicago Bears via free agency, and Josh Gordon is serving an indefinite suspension for violating the terms of his conditional reinstatement.

New England won 11 games and captured the AFC East division title this past season, marking its 10th straight division crown. The Pats then went on to win their sixth Super Bowl.
