Los Angeles Rams wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. made a career-changing move when he decided to join Los Angeles' roster. However, Beckham wasn't always going to the Rams, as he was deciding between LA, the Green Bay Packers, the New Orleans Saints and the New England Patriots. The star wideout spoke to reporters on Monday and dropped a truth bomb on how he nearly signed with the Patriots, via Dakota Randall of NESN.

So, how close was Beckham to choosing the Patriots?

“Very,” he told reporters during Monday’s virtual Super Bowl LVI media availability. “Very, very very.”

Rams wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. was very close to joining the Patriots. That's not all though, Beckham spoke about his conversations with New England head coach Bill Belichick.

And for a guy, a coach like Bill Belichick, who I’ve admired for years and I’ve seen, and, just, always was like, ‘Man, someday I’m gonna play for Bill Belichick.’ … For him to call me; to be able to just sit down on the phone and talk football — I mean, it’s like, what more could you ask for?

Beckham spoke about how he has always admired Patriots head coach Bill Belichick and how it was an honor for the legendary coach to call him and talk football. The Rams wideout mentioned how he feels he would have worked well with longtime quarterback Tom Brady.

Odell Beckham Jr. has worked out pretty well with the Rams but it's interesting to speculate about what could have been if he joined the Patriots.
