Throughout much of his career, New England Patriots star quarterback Tom Brady has received plenty of disdain thrown his way from fans that have been a constant theme even into his 19th year in the league.

It is something that his former longtime teammate Tedy Bruschi voiced during an interview with WEEI that he is baffled by the constant hate that Brady keeps on getting in his direction, via Tyler Sullivan of 247 Sports.

“I don’t know why,” Bruschi told WEEI's Ordway, Merloni and Fauria on Wednesday when asked about folks dismissing Brady's accomplishments for inferior players. “Maybe they’re just tired of seeing greatness for so long because that’s what it is. I personally don’t get tired of it, New Englanders don’t get tired of it. It’s because he’s doing something that you just haven’t seen and you didn’t think it was possible”

Brady has been the standard for success throughout his career behind what he has accomplished on the field and continues to do so at age 41. He has established himself as arguably the best quarterback in league history with the illustrious career that has put together with five Super Bowl wins, four Super Bowl MVP awards, three MVP awards, and 13 Pro Bowl selections.

He has also earned a tremendous amount of respect from his peers over the years with what he has done throughout nearly the last two decades in the NFL. He has earned numerous honors both in a team format and individually. This hatred toward him could come from the few controversies that he's been involved in.

There was the entire spy gate incident prior to playing the then-St. Louis Rams prior to the Super Bowl that year along with the deflategate situation that didn't exactly paint in him the greatest of lights. This combined with the disdain because he continues to win has drawn the disdain from fans over the years.

Nonetheless, there doesn't appear to be any drop off in Patriots superstar's play on the field or any indication that he will be stepping away any time soon that should also see him continue to catch plenty of flak in the process.
