When it comes to media time leading up to the Super Bowl, well—there’s too much of it. As a result, we tend to learn a lot about our favorite players. Why? Well, much of the media prefers to ask casual questions. For example, have you ever wondered who Tom Brady likes to jam to?

Thanks to the reporter who asked him about meditation and centering himself Tuesday, we now know who’s on Tom Brady’s playlist:

According to ESPN’s Mike Reis, Brady says the right music helps him get his mind right for the task ahead.

“For me, I've learned the car ride home is a great time — 30 minutes of time — where I can listen to music and find a good space for me to be in for the day; whether that's driving into work in the morning — or I can think about things I need to do, I want to do. And leaving practice, after you've expended a lot of energy, to find a good balance to deal with things at home.

“Music is a great thing for me. That's probably what I do most. And then I try to, at night, make sure I get a little quiet time before I go to bed.”

Of course, the hard part is picking the right music which depends on what he is getting prepared to do. It makes sense to have Jay-Z blasting while running out onto the field at Gillette Stadium, but he probably opts for something a little more mellow while driving home to see his wife and kids.

Brady is in the running for his third AP NFL MVP award, fifth Super Bowl MVP, and sixth Super Bowl ring. In 2017 he threw for 4,577 yards and 32 touchdowns to just 8 interceptions. He and his New England Patriots will take on the Philadelphia Eagles in Super Bowl 52, slated for this Sunday, Feb. 4, 2018.
