While there have been several talks about an alleged friction between Tom Brady and Bill Belichick since the QB left the New England Patriots, it doesn't look like it's true at all. If the rumors prove to even have some merit, it doesn't appear to be as serious as what a lot of people make it to be.

That much is clear after Brady offered a rather rare public praise of Belichick in an interview during The Match golf tournament. The Tampa Bay Buccaneers star called the Patriots tactician the “most amazing coach” he ever had as he discussed his broadcasting venture once he calls it a career.

For those not in the know, Brady signed a 10-year, $375 million broadcasting deal with FOX Sports, which will kick off when he retires.

“I love football and I care a lot about football, too. I'm always going to be involved in it one way or the other,” Brady said, per CBS Sports. “I was thinking about the opportunity to travel around and see these guys on different Friday afternoons and watching them practice and saying, ‘Hey, here's a couple of things that worked for me.'

“[Talking to] different coaches. I was around the most amazing coach, in Coach Belichick, the most amazing coaches over a period of time. I played with Hall of Famers, Randy Moss to Ty Law to Richard Seymour. I feel like I have a lot of knowledge.”

Tom Brady has always denied the rumors about his strained relationship with Bill Belichick, which some believe was one of the reasons he left the Patriots in 2020. He has also spoken highly of Belichick when given the opportunity, which goes to show that he has nothing but respect for his former head coach.

While it is unlikely we see the Belichick-Brady partnership on the field again, perhaps we can see them together on TV broadcasting together or Brady interviewing the Patriots head coach.
