The New England Patriots have been on a roll as of late with the team winning the last four games after starting the season with two losses in the first three weeks of the 2018 campaign. One of the reasons for the team's recent success has been the offense being back to form with Tom Brady under center and a new weapon downfield in Josh Gordon.

The acquisition of Gordon was thought to be a gamble as a low risk, high reward situation. So far, the move to trade for Gordon has been a step in the right direction with Brady's chemistry with the talented wideout beginning to flourish. After an impressive play on fourth and one during the win over the Chicago Bears on Sunday, Brady talked about the budding chemistry with his new wideout, via Mike Reiss of ESPN.

Gordon had his first 100-yard game with Patriots in Week 7 catching four passes against the Bears. Brady connected with James White twice and Julian Edelman once in the end zone on Sunday, but Gordon's impact was definitely felt throughout the game leading to the team's fifth win of the season.

If the connection between Brady and Gordon continues to prove dividends for the Patriots, New England may very well be that dominant force to be reckoned with in the AFC for the rest of the way in the 2018 NFL season. Although the Miami Dolphins remain on the heels of the perennial AFC East champions at 4-3, the Patriots appear to be the team that strikes fear into opponents on a weekly basis once again.

In Week 8, Brady and company will take on the division rival Buffalo Bills in which they'll almost certainly be heavily favored.
