Although UFC superstar Conor McGregor has often been an attendee at Dallas Cowboys games over the years, it appears as though “The Notorious” has a new allegiance — at least for one day, anyway.

McGregor, who could be seen alongside his son early on at Super Bowl LIII, showed the heralded New England Patriots some love ahead of the big game.

Despite the fact that McGregor remains friendly with the Cowbous, his Irish background surely has something to do with his love for the Patriots ahead of the franchise's Super Bowl matchup against the Los Angeles Rams.

McGregor, who is a former two-time UFC champion, knows a whole lot about performing on the biggest stage, which could create yet another link to the Patriots.

With McGregor serving as a former featherweight and lightweight champion under the UFC's umbrella, Patriots quarterback Tom Brady is now going for title No. 6 in nine career Super Bowl appearances.

With the surging Rams on the opposing sideline this time around, the Patriots better hope Los Angeles finishes the day like Jose Aldo and Eddie Alvarez and not Khabib Nurmagomedov or Floyd Mayweather Jr.

The Patriots have remained slight favorites throughout the course of the week while it appears as though New England will close at -2 on Sunday evening.

With the game pretty much resting at even odds, the outing is certainly gearing up to be a memorable one — especially for McGregor and his infant son, who no doubt have front row seats to the annual event.
