New Orleans Pelicans rookie Zion Williamson has added another highlight on his growing dunk reel. The bouncy 19-year-old finished a thunderous two-handed alley-oop jam after sneaking past the Portland Trail Blazers defense on Tuesday.

With under three minutes remaining before halftime, Williamson caught the Blazers' defense sleeping in the left corner and headed straight to the rim with a gorgeous backdoor cut.

Pelicans' point guard Jrue Holiday knew just when to dish the perfect lob, throwing a pin-point pass to Williamson after attracting multiple defenders. Zion did the rest, electrifying the entire Smoothie King Center with the rim-rattling jam.

The Pelicans trailed by two points, 63-65, after the first 24 minutes of action. Williamson already tallied 17 points, five rebounds, and two assists in 16 minutes at the half.

Entering today's game, the Pelicans' first overall pick of the 2019 draft has been living up to the hype, averaging 19.8 points and 7.5 rebounds, while shooting 57.4 percent from the field and 44.4 percent from downtown in his first eight games as a pro.
