Killian Hayes is set to rejoin the Detroit Pistons on Saturday after sitting out since January 4th while rehabbing a hip injury. It's been a long recovery for the rookie point guard and No. 7 overall pick from the 2020 NBA Draft and some speculated back when the injury occurred that it may require surgery. Who broke the news of Hayes' return you ask? None other than his barber.

Take a seat Woj and Shams. This spotlight is reserved for “barberal313.” He can now say he broke and reported NBA news regarding the Pistons rookie. Is it safe to assume Hayes gave the okay for this post? Or did barberal313 go rogue on this one? Either way, it's a hell of a way for everyone to find out you're coming back.

Hayes was the Pistons' first pick in the 2020 NBA Draft and was lauded for his dribble moves and ability to create off isolation without needing a set play. Some scouts had a tough time placing where they thought Hayes would get drafted with some mocks putting him firmly in the top 10 while others had him sliding out of the lottery.

His return comes at an interesting time as the Pistons are set to face the New York Knicks in Hayes' return. The Knicks of course have Derrick Rose, who was Hayes' teammate in Detroit the last time Killian was on the floor.

In seven games this season, Hayes is averaging 4.6 points per game to go along with 3.6 assists per contest. His return is a sight for sore eyes as Pistons fans try to cling on to something at the end of another miserable season.
