On Sunday, Zaza Pachulia was handed his 2017-18 championship ring as his Detroit Pistons visited the Golden State Warriors in Oakland. The 34-year-old was briefly honored at Oracle Arena prior to tip-off, as he was given his token for his contributions for the Dubs' title run last season.

Following the contest, Pachulia was asked to comment about his thoughts on the recently concluded matchup against the defending champs. The 6-foot-11 big man could not help but take a shot at former teammate Klay Thompson, who, according to Pachulia, was not able to do a very good job defending him on the post:

Pachulia even said that he thinks Thompson should spend more time working on his upper body strength and jokingly suggested that the Dubs star should consider working out more:

These are some pretty funny remarks from Pachulia, but unfortunately for him and the Pistons, it was the Warriors who had the last laugh on Sunday, as they were able to hold off Detroit to secure a 121-114 victory.

Despite his alleged lack of defense in the low post, Thompson was still able to torch the Pistons for 24 points on 10-of-17 shooting. The 29-year-old logged four 3-pointers, two rebounds, and two assists, as he helped his side to the win.

For his part, Zaza Pachulia only played 14 minutes off the bench and accounted for four points, two rebounds, and four assists.

This was the Pistons' third loss in four contests, as they have now slipped to the seventh spot in the Eastern Conference playoff picture.
