With Ole Gunnar Solskjaer getting sacked by Manchester United on Sunday, the rumors have been swirling about PSG boss Mauricio Pochettino leaving the French capital to make a return to the Premier League and take over at Old Trafford.

By no surprise, the Argentine tactician was asked about the possibility of quitting PSG to manage the Red Devils and he quickly put those rumors to bed. Via Fabrizio Romano:

“I'm happy in Paris. I know the city well both as a player and a coach, I have always lived this type of situation. Things happen and it's not my responsibility. What I'm going to say if you ask me is that I'm happy in Paris.”

By the sounds of it, he has no intentions of departing PSG right now. However, Man United is searching for an interim manager to hold down the fort until the end of the campaign where they can hire a full-time boss like Pochettino or Leicester City gaffer Brendan Rodgers.

It's really no surprise that Pochettino is content with his current situation. PSG is flying high this term, sitting 11 points clear at the top of the Ligue table and also in prime position to progress through to the knockout stages of the Champions League.

However, the chance to coach a club with the stature of United would be extremely hard to pass up. We don't know what the future holds for Pochettino, but it's safe to say he won't be making any mid-season changes from France to England.
