The Las Vegas Raiders made many moves in the offseason to upgrade their roster after an early playoff exit. Las Vegas is in the toughest division in the NFL with the Kansas City Chiefs, Los Angeles Chargers, and Denver Broncos, who are all competitive teams with designs of winning the Super Bowl.

While the Raiders may not be the divisional favorite, they have a solid roster. They made a trade for superstar wide receiver Davante Adams, who will be reunited with his college teammate and friend Derek Carr. Adams will obviously be a great addition as the best wide receiver in the NFL. He is a matchup nightmare for defenses as no corner can guard him one on one.

Although the Raiders' offense wasn't as explosive as their divisional rivals' last season, that should change. Adams rounds out the weapons on offense, making them a great unit.

Las Vegas also added star pass rusher Chandler Jones in free agency, which improves their defense vastly. The roster is well-rounded and will compete with the best of the best in the NFL. Their draft was quiet as they traded their first two picks for Adams.

Las Vegas added some solid depth with players who could start in the next few years. However, to compete in the best division, the Raiders need to make a few more upgrades. With that said, here are two moves the Raiders must make after the 2022 NFL Draft to complete their roster.

Raiders Moves After 2022 NFL Draft

2. Center Matt Paradis

While the Raiders have improved, they still need to upgrade their offensive line. Their divisional rivals have solid pass rushers, especially the Chargers with Joey Bosa and Khalil Mack. Protecting Carr needs to be at the top of the priority list for Las Vegas on offense.

Signing a solid center would be a good step in improving the offensive line unit. Paradis is an experienced starter who can come in and bring a veteran boost to the line.

1. Cornerback James Bradberry

James Bradberry was recently released by the New York Giants and would be a solid addition to Las Vegas' secondary. While Bradberry isn't an elite corner, he is a legitimate starter in the NFL.

Bradberry was a Pro Bowler for the Giants back in 2020, where he emerged as a lockdown corner. He wasn't as good this past season but is still worth signing.

The secondary is one of the weaknesses of this team, which will be a problem with the elite receivers in the division. Los Angeles, Kansas City, and Denver all project to have explosive offenses. They all have great quarterbacks, which makes having a great defense even more important.

The Raiders have a potent pass rush, which will help, but they need to improve on the back end. Bradberry can instantly slide in as a starter and help Las Vegas' defense contain the electrifying offenses in the division.

The Raiders have a real shot at contending for a deep playoff run. While they won't be the favorite to make it out of the AFC or even win their division, they have the talent to do it. Adding two more solid pieces would get them closer to accomplishing that goal.

Raiders fans should be excited as they have an exciting road ahead with a lot of hope for this season.
