Derek Carr and the Las Vegas Raiders pulled off an impressive win against the Dallas Cowboys on Thanksgiving Day in overtime. The Raiders won 36-33 thanks to a strong outing from their offense and a fantastic performance from kicker Daniel Carlson.

After the Raiders became the first team in years to win three overtime contests in a season, Carr complimented Dallas, calling them one of the best teams he has played at the NFL level.

Being one of the best teams Carr has faced in nearly a decade of being a professional quarterback seems like an overstatement of the Cowboys' talent. They're good, just not transcendentally good. Still, Dallas has a very strong offense and defense led by playmakers on both sides of the ball.

Carr threw for 373 yards and a touchdown on 39 passing attempts in the win, setting a franchise record in the process. Carlson went a perfect 5/5 on field goals to help the Raiders improve to 6-5 on the season. Wide receiver Hunter Renfrow recorded 134 receiving yards and eight catches, both career highs. Running back Josh Jacobs rushed for 87 yards and a touchdown.

Dallas played this game without star wide receiver CeeDee Lamb but it didn't slow them down much. Dak Prescott threw for 375 yards and a pair of touchdowns. Wide receivers Michael Gallup and Cedrick Wilson each recorded 100 receiving yards. Despite the loss, they're still 7-4 with a strong chance to win the NFC East.

The now-6-5 Raiders have their work cut out for them as they hunt for the division crown as they'll have to work their way out of the AFC West basement.
