Ha Ha Clinton-Dix is expected to be a prime free-agency target of the Oakland Raiders.

According to the Las Vegas Review-Journal, the Raiders have learned their lesson the hard way about digging too deep into the free agency pool. Last year, their lineup became the oldest in the NFL, filled with 30-somethings and 40-somethings, and the team paid the price by not even going to the playoffs.

That's where Ha Ha Clinton-Dix comes in. The 26-year-old Washington Redskins player will be up for free agency in just a few days, and the Raiders are taking a serious look at him.

From the Review-Journal:

“It would be a surprise if the Raiders are serious contenders for Collins, presuming he commands the sort of money he is projected to attract on the open market. An option in the tier of Washington Redskins safety Ha Ha Clinton-Dix is more likely. The team is expected to show interest in Clinton-Dix, 26, when the legal tampering period opens March 11.”

As we'd previously reported, Clinton-Dix was looking like a good option for the New York Giants, but the question of whether they can afford him — on many different levels — hangs in the air.

In addition to Ha Ha Clinton-Dix, the Raiders are looking at other great free agency prospects, including Earl Thomas, Tyrann Mathieu, LaMarcus Joyner, Adrian Amos and Kenny Vaccaro. It will be interesting to see who ultimately gets picked up by the team, and what the team will be able to do going forward.
