Alabama's legend Nick Saban is a tough-nosed coach who doesn't smile a whole lot, but according to Oakland Raiders running back Josh Jacobs, he does have a sense of humor.

Jacobs appeared on the Dan Patrick Show on Friday and revealed that Saban is a big fan of “Deez Nuts” joke.

“So one day I caught like five passes in a row,” Jacobs told Patrick after he revealed the kind of jokes that Saban likes to tell via Yahoo Sports. “He was like ‘Hey Josh, if you wanna hold all the ball, hold these.’ I said ‘What coach?’ I sat there for a second, like, did he really just say that?”

Jacobs said he was shocked by the joke because he hadn't heard a “Deez nuts” joke since he was back in middle school.

“Yeah, I was like coach, I hadn’t heard that since middle school,” Jacobs said.

This is a great story because it shows that even though Saban is old, he still is caught up with the times, even if he is a couple of years behind.

This story does follow what others have said about Saban. In the media, he does come across as a hard-nosed football coach, but behind the scenes, players talk about how much of a player's coach he is, and it's why he continues to get the best players to come to Alabama.

Who knows, maybe if the Crimson Tide win the National Title this year he will tell the rest of college football to hold “Deez nuts.”
