It was a close fight, but the Oakland Raiders managed to take down the Los Angeles Chargers in a game that was made unnecessarily hard for them. The win probably costed more than it should have as they lost an important defender in Karl Joseph.

Paul Gutierrez reported an update about the safety's condition after the game. The sight he shared with Raiders fans didn't exactly fill them with much confidence.

The injury happened in the dying embers of the game. The Chargers were doing everything they can to get the road win. Joseph managed to make the right read and intercept the pass.

The entire stadium celebrated and the team immediately gathered around him. However, the man who made the heroic play was obviously hurt and limped his way to the sidelines.

The checkup on his knee will be made today, and the team will be hoping that the tests will not come out with any significant injury. And if he does have to sit out, they will be praying that the injury doesn't take him away as long as he could.

Fortunately for the team, their next two games are fairly easy. They face the Cincinnati Bengals in Week 11 and the New York Jets in Week 12.

However, they need to have Joseph back by Week 13 because they'll be playing the Kansas City Chiefs. Patrick Mahomes is an elite quarterback, and they need Joseph's pass defense if they're going to have any chance of pulling off an upset.
