The price for Antonio Brown wasn't high. A third-round pick and fifth-round pick in exchange for one of the most consistently productive receivers in NFL history is certainly a price worth paying for the Oakland Raiders.

Whether or not Brown will be happier wearing silver and black than he was during his final season with the Pittsburgh Steelers, though, still remains to be seen.

One analyst who believes the six-time Pro Bowler is a perfect fit with Oakland? Hall-of-Fame receiver Michael Irving, who thinks Raiders coach Jon Gruden is just the man to make Brown “bite and bark” at the other team rather than his own.

“Well to that whole offense, whoever is on that offense, that offense was just made better,” Irvin said during an appearance on ESPN's “Get Up! “This dude is a pure dog, Bart. You know he's a pure dog. And people have been talking about him like a dog, but if you got the right people around him then that dog will bark and bite for you. And Jon Gruden is the right person to have around him. Jon Gruden will get him the ball. He'll get him the ball early in the first quarter so he'll have that bite and barking for him, as opposed to making him wait late in a game to get his passes and he'll be biting and barking at you.

“This man…I think it's a great chance, great opportunity,” he continued. “I was watching on social media when they were going back and forth at the Pro Bowl a little while ago, and I'm thinking ‘Wow. Isn't that incredible? To have that on social media, now to have that all year long.' I'm looking forward to the two working together.”

Oakland, 4-12 during the first campaign of Gruden's second go-around with the franchise, finished 18th in passing yards and 24th in passing touchdowns last season.

Brown, meanwhile, had 104 catches, 1,297 receiving yards, and a league-leading 15 touchdowns during his final season in Pittsburgh.
