Several weeks ago, there was a report that emerged that Oakland Raiders offseason addition Martavis Bryant could be facing a possible additional suspension by the league. There has yet to be anything to come about from that speculation with the team deciding to not discuss that chatter at any point since then.

According to Vic Tafur of The Athletic, the Raiders' decision to avoid the topic could come from the simple matter that it has already been cleared up after Bryant had visited the league offices earlier this offseason.

It is a strange situation that has continued to linger around Bryant and the Raiders because of the lack of acknowledging from the organization. The fact that there hasn't been any further reports or suggestions that the 26-year-old should lead to this chatter finally ceasing around him.

Bryant could be set to enter a breakout year as the Raiders are expected to utilize him in a major role in the offense behind fellow wideouts Amari Cooper and Jordy Nelson. He has shown to possess a unique skill set by stretching the field with his speed and big-play ability. Head coach Jon Gruden has already stated that he believes that the fourth-year wideout brings a “different dynamic” to the passing game.

Until there is any more talk that surfaces about a possible suspension, it shouldn't receive any additional attention especially Raiders have made the decision to not discuss it.
