The Oakland Raiders have reportedly had discussions with the San Francisco Giants about possibly playing at AT&T Park during the 2019 NFL season.

It's been an interesting few weeks for the Raiders, as they've had to deal with a lot of unknowns when it comes to where they will actually be playing prior to their move to Las Vegas.

However, it appears that one possibility could be San Francisco, where the Raiders would enter a similar setting in a baseball stadium, via Charean Williams of Pro Football Talk:

The San Francisco Giants have confirmed that they have had discussions with the Raiders about the NFL team playing the 2019 season at AT&T Park.

“There has been initial interest expressed in exploring the opportunity of the Raiders playing at AT&T Park,” the Giants said in a statement, via Kerry Crowley of the Bay Area News Group. “Many details would need to be figured out. The Giants want to do what’s best for Bay Area fans and would be open to the concept just as we hosted Cal Football in 2011 when Memorial Stadium in Berkeley was being renovated.”

Of course, as Williams also mentions, one big sticking point could be whether the San Francisco 49ers would actually let the Raiders into their market for the entire year.

No matter what, it's clear that Jon Gruden and company have a lot of work on their hands when it comes to getting this franchise back on the right track.

The Raiders will return to the field next Monday to take on the Denver Broncos in what could be the team's final game at Oakland Coliseum.
