Oakland Raiders wide receiver Tyrell Williams has yet to be able to work out this week for the team, but according to Raiders offensive coordinator Greg Olson, he’s hopeful that the receiver will still be able to play this week.

In a report from NBC Sports Bay Area’s Scott Blair, Olson noted that he’s hopeful Williams can respond to some rest and still be on track to play. The Raiders are currently set to take on the Chicago Bears in the NFL’s first game in London of the 2019 NFL season. Williams comes into the week on a hot streak, having scored a touchdown in each of his four last games, but that could be in jeopardy.

Should Williams not be able to play on Sunday, the Raiders wide receivers corp will be taking a big hit. After Williams, the team doesn’t have many true weapons to rely on, with the likes of Hunter Renfrow and Keelan Dose the other names in the group.

Williams himself is off to a strong start in 2019, having already amassed 17 catches for 216 yards and four touchdowns, so it’s likely that the Raiders will hope that a nice period of rest is enough to get him back on the field.

After coming away with a huge victory to start the season, the Raiders have since dropped their last three in a row, and will now have to play a Bears team that comes in as big favorites.

With Bears linebacker Khalil Mack ready to play his former team and already looking to be in prime form, the Raiders will have a long day on their hands, especially if Williams is unable to play.
