The Los Angeles Rams reached the top of the mountain last year, winning Super Bowl LVI. However, they faced a number of roster questions heading into the offseason. Instead of regrouping, they re-tooled, and could potentially be even better than last season.

Los Angeles brought in former Pro Bowl wide receiver Allen Robinson to replace Robert Woods, whom they traded to the Tennessee Titans. But they also signed six-time All-Pro linebacker Bobby Wagner. That was a move that shook up the entire NFC, making the one hole on the Rams roster, their linebacking corps, a strength.

While addressing the media, Wagner had some pretty interesting comments.

Wagner said that he wants to “be a part of a winning organization and compete at a high level.” As hard as it is for Seahawks fans to acknowledge, Seattle is no longer a winning organization. There was a very brief window where they destroyed the Denver Broncos in Super Bowl XLVIII. But they lost the next year in Super Bowl XLIX to the New England Patriots.

Since that point, Seattle has watched their winning ways slip away. Meanwhile, the Rams have been ascending. They reached the Super Bowl a few years ago, also losing to the New England Patriots (because who hasn't). Then, Los Angeles finally climbed to the top of the mountain beating the Cincinnati Bengals for the franchises second career title.

Wagner went on to talk about people's beliefs that Seattle was never going to get there again and he intends on accomplishing that with the Rams.

Los Angeles is looking to become the first team to win back-to-back Super Bowls since, you guessed it, the New England Patriots in 2003 and 2004.
